Badminton Zero Gravity
In many Asian countries, badminton is a favorite sport – it is fast, requires skills and most agile players become champions. There is no doubt that many Asian companies have private space, and orbiting space stations and hotels in the future they will take on the badminton hall. But when they do there are certain things we must consider, for example, play badminton in zero gravity would be much different than it is here on Earth.
Some time ago I was talking to a man of reflection, we believe there is a way to solve the challenges of zero gravity for the sport. It will take a little ingenuity and re-engineering of sports equipment used to play the game, but we believe it is feasible. First, look back to prevent the bird flying propellers. The birdie will be equipped with sensors within which take into account the speed, velocity and kinetic energy applied by the player as hit.
Then the birdie flies forward, it will adjust its flight path that an atmosphere 1G using a small propeller and manage birdie back to what the normal course would have been here on Earth. Well, there’s another problem, and it has to do with people who play the game, or athletes, namely the challenge to float in zero gravity.
