Education

Often we talk of education in our thinking, and it is a hot topic these days with all the political promises of education reform, and of course all the massive cuts, layoffs of teachers, and media to report dropouts that are too high. You can talk to almost everyone who had gone through k-12, and they will discuss their experiences of education in our country. Many people have given high marks and praise, but most people were a bit underwhelmed.

Some people then complain that their K-12 education, not only here but also in Europe and other developed societies, and was less than adequate. Not long ago I had this discussion with an acquaintance, and informed me that he had problems at school is very high IQ, and is basically a creative genius  and he never bothered sense. He worries other superstar that will bring understanding of humanity and future gifts to the world to suppress an early age.

Well, I saw K-12 as a prison for children, he could not contain my mind, I’m mostly A and B and drew pictures, doodled, drew catchy poems and thought of other things, pretty tired. It was almost as if the school consciously tried to model the minds of those who sit in classrooms, I had too much energy, I loved running, jumping, speed, sports, make biking, skateboarding, school was a prison, except when I grew, I became fascinated by all the girls who helped me forget that I had wasted my time, day after day.
